The Beginnings

 

Jaci & Janene both have a passion for good quality food and how it is grown. They also have a drive to minimise plastic packaging in food they products. These pivotally ideas drove their work during the formation of ‘Sprouting Change Food Co-operative Ltd’ a community driven bulk whole-foods co-operative. It was realised, during their work with the co-op, that most people just wanted good quality sustainable food that was easy to prepare in their own homes. Jaci & Janene were adamant they wanted to create a company that supported these ideals. Hence ‘The Gathered Bowl’ was born.

The Gathered Bowl aims to support people with their good food choices and their desire to support the planet. The idea is that we gather the ingredients necessary to make nutritious, great quality food, easily at home while minimising the environmental impact from our products.

It is important that they know what goes in to producing the food they sell & where is comes from. They support Australian, organic, biodynamic & sustainably produced foods. All their packaging can be home composted or placed in your greens bin.
