NatureFlex™ Bags (clear bags)

To keep all our food fresh we use a clear NatureFlex™ bag. NatureFlex™ is a home compostable film originally developed by Futamura Group, Japan. These NatureFlex™ bags are made in Australia from renewable cellulose fibre. They are certified home compostable by Australian Standards AS 5810, & a have a good moisture barrier for food. Stored food can last up to 18 months under dry conditions.

Decomposition time is approximately 15 weeks once in the elements. 

Kraft Boxes

Our boxes are 100% recyclable with you home kerbside collection service.

These boxes can also be put into you home compost. We recommend that you tear the box up & add it to your home compost, or if you don't compost at home it can go into your Greens or Recycling Bin for kerbside collection.

Stickers

Our stickers are made from FSC-certified paper, are printed with soy-based inks and have a non toxic adhesive. This makes our stickers 100% home  compostable. FYI they can also be recycled.

In addition to this, every time we purchase stickers for our products, Noissue plants more trees. To date they have planted 40,060 trees and counting. 

Compostable Mailer

We use compostable mailers from NoIssue. They are made from a combination of PBAT, a bio based polymer which is compostable, and PLA which is made up of plant materials such as regular field corn and wheat straw. Our use of PLA makes up barely 0.05% of the annual global corn crop, making it an incredibly low-impact resource. These are certified home compostable, so they will break down in home compost within 180 days and 90 days in commercial composting conditions. 

We will also sometimes use 100% compostable postage bags from Sendle - yes that's right no plastic here either.

Postage

We have chosen to use Sendle to deliver your yummy goodies to your doorstep. Why? Because they offer a 100% Carbon Neutral Delivery. To find out more visit Sendle

There may also me times when it is not viable to use Sendle. In this instance we will send via Australia Post, which also offer a carbon neutral deliver.
